Backed Up Water Line Causes Flood in Office Building

An office building in Rancho Santa Margarita suffered extensive water damage after a sewage water main backed up, causing a pipe to burst. You can see in the photo on the left that a significant amount of water flooded the hallway. As is often the case in many commercial office buildings, the flooring was just glued on carpet, so our technicians had to remove some parts of the carpet that could not be saved. Because SERVPRO of Tustin has a restore first mentality, our technicians made sure to only remove the portions of carpet that could not be dried in place. After removing the carpet, our technicians were able to completely dry the base of the floor.
