Toilet Overflow Leads to Category 3 Water Damage in Irvine Residence

A toilet overflowed in a home in Irvine and caused water damage in multiple rooms in the home. As you can see in the photo on the left, a significant amount of water made its way into the hall. The homeowners soaked up some of the excess water with towels before our crew arrived on site. Because the source of the water was the toilet and there was debris in the water, this was considered Category 3 water damage. There was a significant amount of abortion in the carpet in the hallway. Due to the amount of abortion and because the water was unsanitary, the carpet had to be removed. SERVPRO of Tustin technicians were able to fully dry the affected area.
