Water Damage in Kitchen of Irvine Home

SERVPRO of Tustin crews responded to a home in Irvine when the homeowner noticed wetness among walls and baseboards as well as water coming under the floor. The water damage was caused by a leak in the home. This was a category 2 loss meaning that the water was contaminated (Grey Water). All of the effected laminate flooring had to be removed in order to properly dry the sub-floor. The flooring extended underneath the kitchen cabinets, so our crew carefully removed the cabinets to get to the laminate flooring. Through use of dehumidifiers and air movers, SERVPRO of Tustin was able to completely dry the affected area.
